International Day

Today we celebrated International Day. The Ice Monsters looked incredible in their national costumes. The day began with the unfurling of the international flags. We have nearly 100 different nationalities in ISM!

During recess, the Ice Monsters enjoyed partaking in international sport and art activities. After this, some of our Grade 1 parents transformed our classrooms into countries from around the world. The students were able to sumo wrestle in Japan, play a Maori stick game in New Zealand, practise songs and dances in Ireland, play jegichagi in Korea, create Rangolis in India, play Lompat Karet in Indonesia and make conical hats in Vietnam.
