Our Recycling Rangers continue to do their part to help care for the world

Here are our Recycle Rangers from this week! Our Recycle Rangers have been doing a wonderful job of advocating for recycling rather than throwing away our items. They have been sorting the recycling so that is ready for our ISM recycle bins and recording the number of items we are recycling each day. Our Recycle rangers have also addressed the class about any problems they have faced, e.g. food or unclean containers contaminating the recycling, and have kept a watchful eye out for students they notice that are particularly good recyclers that can take on the role the following day. The Ice Monsters have taken on this role with a sense of responsibility and pride.
Georgia: "We are counting how much we recycled. "
Itos: "There was some food so we had to pick up dirty stuff. There was more than two pieces and we had to pick them out. I told the class to not throw food in the recycle bin."

Alina: "I am recycling the trash and then we put it in the recycling bins."
Jonah: "This is me and Alina recycling trash. People didn't wash it and it smelled stinky! We had to wash it and I talked to the class and told them to wash it next time."

Izabella: "There was lots of paper. There were 105 pieces - so much! We had to go back and forth to put it in the trash cans!"
Cian: We were recycling stuff like paper and plastic and we got more than 100 papers to recycle. The trash can for the paper was overfilled. We had to squeeze it down."
